“Using “Traditional Electric Blues” as a jumping off point, The Humblers put their own stamp on a style of music they respect and revere. Whether playing their own compositions or new arrangements of blues and roots classics, they create a musical dynamic that is at once comfortably familiar, yet refreshingly new and unique. The heart and soul of the group is the rhythm section. Known as “The Engine Room”, Ian Hermanns on drums, and Dave “Dr. Mo” Moyar on bass and vocals create a solid foundation for the rest of the band to rely on. Whether the focus of the song is Mike Easton’s world weary vocals and tough yet melodic harmonica playing, Danny Kreiger’s explosive and stinging guitar work, or the thorn in the heart vocals and soulful and aggressive guitar playing of Bob Wineland, the end result is always the same: Spontaneous outbreaks of dancing and joyful eruptions from startled crowds who didn’t realize they would be transported from wherever they thought they were to a juke joint or roadhouse somewhere south of back and beyond.”
